Maybe not tennis but there is a lot of ping-pong between R3 and APO. In short ATP stands for available-to-promise and it is the process that determines the date and quantity of a sales order that can be delivered to the customer based on constraints (available stock, customer quotas, production capacities, etc). Some more information on this SAP documentation link. http://help.sap.com/saphelp_scm70/helpdata/en/26/c2d63b18bc7e7fe10000000a114084/frameset.htm answered 20 Sep '09, 15:26 pedrolima ♦♦ |
ATP is a business function. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Available-to-promise gATP is a SAP-SCM (former APO) subsystem. answered 03 Feb '12, 06:48 Datawolf |
